  • The Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Dog Association (SD&G DA) was founded in 1987 and our area of operation is the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and surrounding area.

Venue

Directions:
    • From Cornwall: 
      • Take highway #138, continue until Highway #43, turn right at Monkland, turn left on County Rd #20 Highland Road/Main St., continue to Maxville, turn right on Fair St.
    • From 401 East or West:
      • Take Exit 789 towards Hwy #138/Ave. Brookdale/Cornwall, turn left or right (going North) on Highway #138, continue until Highway #43 at Monkland, turn left on County Rd #20 Highland Road/Main St., continue to Maxville, turn right on Fair St.
    • From 417 East or West :
      • Take Exit #51 towards Highland Rd/St. Isidore/Maxville, turn left or right (going south) onto County Rd #20 Highland Rd/Main St., continue to Maxville, turn left on Fair St.

Accessibility:
    • Competitors displaying an accessible parking permit on their vehicle will be directed to the designated parking spaces at the venue.

Day Exhibitors Area:
    • You will be able to set up pop-up tents on the mounds just outside the conformation rings. Please be fair and share the space and be respectful to other exhibitors.
    • DO NOT ATTACH ANYTHING TO THE TREES. 
    • DO NOT PARK ON THE MOUNDS.
    • You can park at the bottom of the mounds.
    • Poop Scoop and make sure the area is clean before you leave. 
    • Place all garbage in the garbage bins all around the grounds.

Camping Areas:
    • The area dedicated to camping will be on the outside of the Fire Lane all around the Fairground.
    • More information to come

Vendor/Booth Areas:
    • The area dedicated to booths/vendors will be along the fencing of the Infield where Conformation rings will be set up.
    • Size of Booth space:
      • 10’ x 10’
      • 10’ x 20’
      • 10’ x 30’
      • 20’ x 20’
      • Daily or Weekend Rental – 1 table included.  Limited Electrical available.
    • No booth setup before 10am on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024

Grooming Building:
    • Large indoor grooming area with electrical outlets.  No charge for space but please be fair and share the space and be respectful to other exhibitors.  Make sure the area is clean before you leave.
    • Bathing station just outside the grooming building. 
    • Bathing washtubs will be supplied by Best In Show Dog Supplies.

Bar Information:
    • Administrative Building – 2nd Floor – Must remain in the bar area.
    • The bar will be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.(still to be confirmed)

    • Two (2) Entry Points:
    • North entrance is off Marlborough Street
    • South entrance is off Fair Street
    • Exhibitors connected to Camping Section A-J
    • When driving on the show grounds/fire lanes please DRIVE SLOW and WATCH for any exhibitors/dogs walking.
    • Specific parking areas will be identified for various performance events.
    • Set-up area for day exhibitors on the mounds.
    • DO NOT PARK ON THE MOUNDS.
    • DO NOT ATTACH ANYTHING TO THE TREES.
    • Be respectful and leave room between cars.
    • Do not box other exhibitors’ car in.
    • Poop Scoop and clean up your space before you leave the show.
    • Pick up all your garbage and place in the garbage bins all around the show grounds.
    • No grooming set up in conformation area.
    • Day Parking Areas for Spectators:
    • Parking area just outside the main gates off the Maxville Fairgrounds, 35 First St. Maxville, On.
    • Spectators are requested not to park on the show grounds.  All events, conformation rings and booths are at walking distance.
    • Guidelines/Regulations :
    • There will be parking attendants on the fairground upon entry, so PLEASE be respectful to the parking attendants.  Any disrespect to the parking attendants can involve your being removed from the show.
    • We will have designated space for exhibitors to set-up pop-up tents (Please do not drive on mounds).
    • We reserve the right to have any cars removed if these guidelines are not respected.  Towing will be paid at the owner’s expense.
    • All Handicap parking must have an MTO approved blue sticker and park in the designated areas for handicap parking.
    • NOTICE: Maxville Fairgrounds has requested that we keep fire lanes clear for any emergencies.  Cars can be removed at the owner’s expense.
    • Restrictions :
    • No one is to be parking on the soccer fields or baseball diamond.
    • Do Not Box unknown people/car in.
    • No grooming set-up or parking in Conformation Area.
